Jack-O-Lanterns!

Jack-O-Lanterns have been made for centuries. One version of this may have originated from an irish legend about a man named Stingy Jack. Acoording to the story, Jack invited the Devil to drink with him. But, Jack didn't want to pay for his drink. So, he asked the Devil to turn into a coin for him to pay for the drinks. Then, Jack tricked the devil and put him into his pocket next to a silver cross that prevented him from changing back. After Jack's death, God would not allow such an unsavory figure into heaven, and the Devil didn't take him either and sent him into the night with a burning coal to light the way, and Jack put it into a carved out turnip he had been roaming with.
